Leader of Georgian political union has made research to compare prices on drugs in Georgia and in Turkey and discovered that difference is dramatic and equals to 350-400%, leader of the party admits that such difference is created artificially.
According to Leader of a party, five ampules of “Kartan” drug costs 29 laris in Georgia while Turkish pharmaceutical companies sell it for 9,9 Laris.
Artificial monopoly is created in Georgia’s pharmaceutical business, where few large companies operate, they have cartel agreement which is a criminal offense. In fact, this is a conspiracy against people of Georgia. I think that prices are speculatively high.
