Prime Minister Irakli Gharibashvili has met with experts from the international advisory group – Global Alliance for Health and Social Compact.
Conversation touched upon the agreement signed yesterday about cooperation on moving Georgia’s healthcare system closer to international standards, – Healthcare Minister Davit Sergeenko told reporters after the meeting held at the governmental administration building.
“We have finally moved from the preparatory phase to the action phase. We signed an agreement with a truly professional team,”- said the Healthcare Minister.
According to him, cooperation with the international consulting group is planned in areas of primary healthcare, emergency services, control of medication quality, etc.
